DOER to hold training on new clean energy siting permitting portal

On Nov. 10, the Department of Energy Resources will hold a training session on a new permitting portal called Massachusetts Energy Siting Hub, or MESH.

The portal will allow users to file, track, and comment on clean energy projects going through the new state and local consolidated permitting processes that took effect on Oct. 1.

Developers, local officials, state officials, and members of the public will be able to access and use the portal for free.

The Nov. 10 training session, scheduled 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will focus on showing municipal officials how to use the new portal, set up accounts, review and approve filings, and receive alerts for projects in their communities.
