The Lowell Justice Center Complex staff celebrated the Massachusetts Trial Court’s 10th Annual Cultural Appreciation Week on Friday, October 23, 2026, as all court Departments came together to honor the rich diversity of the community. Superior Court, Probate and Family Court, Juvenile Court, Housing Court, the Registry of Deeds, Court Officers, Maintenance, and the Resource Center staff shared foods from many cultural backgrounds. The event featured a powerful guest speaker from Drug Court, whose story reflected this year’s theme: “Access and Justice: We Stand Together.”

The Champions, Joshua Garcia and Stephania Cueva, also read a heartfelt poem celebrating their Puerto Rican and Dominican heritage, adding a meaningful artistic touch to the day.
