“Silencing a nationwide protest on the Early Vote Day of Action is an alarming act of corporate censorship that strikes at the heart of our democracy. Tell Meta to restore the No Kings Coalition Instagram account immediately.
When Meta pours tens of millions of dollars into the president’s priorities and subsequently deplatforms grassroots voter mobilization efforts, we have to ask if this is pay-to-play politics. We must demand that social platforms that control our modern public square protect civic participation, not silence it. Common Cause demands the immediate reinstatement of the No Kings coalition—because in our democracy, the voices of everyday voters must never take a backseat to corporate political favors.”
