Pressley Stands with Rep. Omar After Trump's Baseless Attacks and Raid

BOSTON – Today, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) issued the following statement in fervent support of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (MN-05) amid Donald Trump’s baseless attacks against her—including the raid of her home todayby federal authorities.

“This is a gross abuse of power and the latest in a decade-long, racist smear campaign against a duly elected Black Congresswoman,” said Congresswoman Pressley. “Trump is a coward who is weaponizing his DOJ to fuel hate and intimidate his opponents with baseless attacks like these, just like he’s doing with Rep.
