Whip Clark Celebrates Framingham’s New Remote Airport Terminal

May 27, 2026

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Today, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-5) joined Governor Maura Healey, Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky, Massport Chief Executive Officer Richard Davey, Senate President Karen Spilka, and local leaders to celebrate the grand opening of the Logan Airport Remote Terminal, a first-of-its-kind facility that will make travel easier for Massachusetts families. Learn more about the project HERE. Below is a transcript of her remarks:

“This is a first-in-the-nation achievement. This is a revolution — that we’re good at in this district — in convenience and safety in air travel, all while easing congestion on the road. This is truly what travelers deserve. And where better than here in Framingham? Home of the Framingham Flyers.

“Once again, Massachusetts is leading the way. Through all the chaos and craziness that we’re seeing in Washington, our Commonwealth is proving that we can still get things done and make a difference in people’s lives. This is how government should function. Leaders, from every local level, identifying a problem, having the vision to identify a solution, and then getting it done.

“I’m so proud we’re kicking off this new chapter in American aviation travel here in this community. And I’m so glad to have played a small part in delivering this win for Framingham. I cannot wait to go check out this new facility!”
