Take action TODAY to protect health coverage in Massachusetts

We are facing unprecedented challenges due to federal policy changes. Massachusetts lawmakers are currently making critical decisions in the MA FY27 state budget that can help protect people from losing coverage and access to critical care. 

 

Health Care For All (HCFA) is hard at work advocating for budget priorities that would do this by:  

 

• Continuing the state's commitment to affordable health insurance coverage through the ConnectorCare program for the 44,000 residents enrolled in the expansion pilot. 


• Offering affordable coverage options for the 67,000 lawfully present immigrants who are losing access to coverage due to federal policy changes. 


• Protecting MassHealth adult dental benefits that the legislature restored in 2021 by avoiding a cap or other cuts to these essential benefits that would restrict access to care. 


• Providing funding for HCFA’s free, multilingual consumer HelpLine and enrollment assister technical assistance.
