Offshore wind is under threat from federal decisionmakers who want to halt its progress. At the very moment we must accelerate our clean energy transition, these attacks put at risk one of our most effective tools to cut fossil fuel emissions, create good jobs, and lower energy costs.

The return on offshore wind makes it worth fighting for. In just a few months, Vineyard Wind 1 is expected to be fully operational, powering 400,000 homes and businesses across the Commonwealth with abundant, clean, affordable electricity.  And Daymark Energy Advisors recently found that if more offshore wind had been online this past winter, ratepayers would have seen an 11% decrease in energy prices, compared to the 67% increase we actually experienced.
