Thank you to Congresswoman Katherine Clark and her team for meeting with us in Waltham earlier today to discuss our current federal concerns, including Medicaid and SNAP cuts, cuts to NIH research, harmful immigration policies, and more. We are so lucky to have the most supportive congressional delegation to help us navigate these turbulent times. While we have an uphill climb, these visits are a welcome reminder that we are in this together and that advocacy truly makes a difference. Thank you to Nan and TC for joining us to share their stories.

Thank you also to staff from Congressman Stephen Lynch‘s office for visiting The Arc of the South Shore this week. This was a great opportunity to showcase the vital services The Arc provides and to highlight the critical importance of Medicaid for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism. We toured the Community-Based Day/Employment and Day Habilitation programs and spent time with participants, families, and staff, who shared their personal stories and underscored the power of advocacy. Their voices are instrumental to our mission, and this advocacy is more important then ever!
