*PREVIEW* MassBudget to be featured on national television series

Tomorrow, MassBudget is being featured on the nationally broadcast television series Empowered hosted by Meg Ryan. The segment spotlights how MassBudget’s data-driven research has been a driver for equity in the Commonwealth. 

The episode features MassBudget’s president Viviana Abreu-Hernández, Ph.D. who has led the organization since last summer.

"We are honored to be featured on Empowered hosted by Meg Ryan. This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate how our rigorous research, policy analysis, and advocacy impact the Massachusetts policy-making process. Empowered’s storytelling platform enables MassBudget to demonstrate that education, information, and working directly with grassroots organizations uplifts people, in particular communities that have been historically excluded from decision-making spaces," said Abreu-Hernández. 

It will begin airing nationally Wednesday, July 16. We wanted to share a preview with you ahead of Wednesday’s release.
