WCVB Channel 5 Wins Eighteen Emmy® Awards at 48th Annual Boston/N.E. Emmy Awards Ceremony
BOSTON —
Monday, June 9, 2025 -- WCVB Channel 5 won eighteen Emmy® Awards, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Boston/New England Chapter, at Saturday’s 48th Emmy Awards Ceremony. Among the top honors, WCVB NewsCenter 5 won for both Best Newscast-Morning (Larger Markets) and Best Newscast-Evening (Larger Markets). This is the fifteenth time over the last eighteen years that NewsCenter 5 was recognized with the Best Newscast-Evening award. WCVB also received Emmy Awards for Chronicle, promotion, special event coverage, and various individual craft achievements. The most honored media organization in New England, WCVB celebrated the greatest number of Emmy Awards that the station has received in over a decade.
