We are so excited to announce our first ever advocacy focused pizza party in support of the Social Work Compact! We hope you will join us in-person on Wednesday, June 25th from 4:30pm - 6:00pm to take action and build momentum for the S.252/H.380 social work compact. The compact would help reduce barriers to license portability by allowing social workers with bachelors, master's, and clinical licenses to serve clients in other compact states.
Legislators need to hear from social workers about why passing the compact is so important, join us on June 25th to let them know and share the link with other Massachusetts social workers:https://forms.gle/PUg6m21EUkTJRtjP6
How does the compact work? A licensed social worker who wants to practice in other compact member states must apply for a multistate license through the compact board. Once their home state verifies a social worker meets the compact requirements, a multistate license (that corresponds with their licensing category) is issued.
Help us become the next state to pass the compact by utilizing our toolkit and RSVP here for our advocacy focused pizza party!
