JUNE 10, 2025

Would you like to help build a stronger early childhood system in Massachusetts?

Then consider applying for a spot in Strategies for Children’s Advocacy Network for Early Childhood!

The Advocacy Network is a yearlong program for emerging advocacy leaders that connects and supports educator advocates across all regions of Massachusetts.

It’s a chance to get hands-on experience that will build your advocacy knowledge and skills.

Advocates attend monthly meetings, network with peers, and share advocacy strategies with members of their local communities. Each cohort reflects the diversity of the early education and care field, representing various demographics, provider types, and geographical areas. Advocates receive stipends for their time and participation in the cohort.

Together, we aim to influence state and local policy to advance an equitable early childhood system for children, families, and educators.

The application process is easy:

  1. Learn more by reading our new flyer and Meeting Schedule and Expectations documents. Make sure you will have 10 hours per month on average to dedicate to Advocacy Network activities, including our monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  2. Attend an online info session on Tuesday, July 15th. Please RSVP by selecting a session time: 1:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. These sessions are optional but strongly encouraged.

  3. Complete our online application

We will accept applications from June to August on a rolling basis.
