Dr. Sarah Kleinschmidt honored by Massachusetts Medical Society with Early Career Physician Leadership Award

WALTHAM – Dr. Sarah Kleinschmidt, regional chief of emergency medicine for Baystate Noble Hospital, has been honored by the Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) as the 2025 recipient of the organization’s Barbara A. Rockett, MD Early Career Physician Leadership Award, which recognizes an early career physician who has demonstrated exemplary leadership in organized medicine, patient advocacy, and mentorship.
Kleinschmidt is an assistant fellowship director with Baystate Wilderness Medicine and is a member and education chair of that organization’s Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She is a rising leader with the MMS for which she serves as vice-chair of the membership committee and a delegate for the Society’s Hampshire District.
She is a graduate of Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine.
