NAIOP Massachusetts Introduces 2025 Leadership Team: Doug Manz to Serve as 2025 Chapter President; Kirk Sykes Named Board Chair
Debbie Osheroff and Michael McDermott Recognized with Special Awards
Boston, MA — At its Annual Meeting on November 19, NAIOP Massachusetts, The Commercial Real Estate Development Association, announced the election of its new President and Board members. The Board, comprised of many of the region’s prominent commercial real estate leaders, will guide NAIOP’s priorities in the upcoming year.
Doug Manz, Partner, Chief Investment Officer of The HYM Investment Group (HYM), was elected as NAIOP Massachusetts President for 2025. In this role, Manz will collaborate closely with NAIOP staff and Chapter leadership to guide the organization’s initiatives and support its members. NAIOP’s 2024 President, Kirk Sykes, will transition to serve as the organization’s 2025 Board Chair. Other officers include Melissa Schrock of HRP Group as President-Elect, Patrick Sousa of Marcus Partners as Treasurer, and Stephen Davis of The Davis Companies, the newest addition to NAIOP’s Board Management Committee, will serve as the Secretary. James Tierney of JLL and Erin Corcoran of Greystar will serve as advisors to the Board Management Committee.
“NAIOP is the voice for the commercial real estate development industry across Massachusetts, driving key initiatives that support economic growth, housing production, and strengthen our communities. NAIOP’s work powers the industry forward and addresses the needs of the Commonwealth’s residents and businesses,” said Manz. “I look forward to working alongside NAIOP’s staff and leadership team to expand these critical efforts.”
Manz, a founding partner at HYM, leads development teams responsible for over 20 million square feet of mixed-use projects across Greater Boston, including the transformative Bulfinch Crossing and Suffolk Downs developments.

At the Annual Meeting, NAIOP Massachusetts also presented special awards recognizing significant contributions to the industry. The 2024 President’s Award was presented to Debbie Osheroff, NAIOP’s longtime Director of Membership & Administration, in recognition of her remarkable 24 years of exceptional contributions to the organization. Michael McDermott of Dain, Torpy, Le Ray, Wiest & Garner, P.C., received the 2024 Government Affairs Champion Award for his for his expertise on critical zoning and housing issues that shaped NAIOP’s advocacy in 2024.
