For questions about medical records, physician referrals, and other issues after the closure of Carney Hospital, please call the Patient Assistance Line at 617-789-2228.

Patients may obtain copies of their medical records by faxing a written request to 617-663-6000 or by emailing a request to STEWARDREQUESTS@mrocorp.com



Turnaround time to receive medical records: 30 days - can expedite request to receive sooner, if needed.

How to Reschedule an Appointment



Surgeries or Colonoscopies 



Surgeries and colonoscopies are scheduled through your physician's office. If you need to change the date or the time, you must speak with staff in your surgeon's office. They will coordinate the change with the hospital.



Xray, MRI, CT. Mammograms, Lab testing-other diagnostics 



Imaging, lab testing and other diagnostics are scheduled through your physician's office. If you need to change the date or the time, you must speak with staff in your physician’s office. They will coordinate the change with the hospital.

The above website provides information for MassHealth members regarding available non-emergency transportation to and from MassHealth covered services if you are unable to access public or private transportation. These services, but are not limited to, transportation to doctors' appointments, counseling, and day habilitation.
