GBH News’ Boston Public Radio Broadcasts Live from UMass Boston on May 3
Gov. Maura Healey to Join Hosts Jim Braude and Margery for “Ask the Governor”
(Boston, MA - April 29, 2024) – GBH News is taking its weekday public affairs radio program Boston Public Radio on the road for a special live broadcast from UMass Boston’s University Hall on Friday May 3, 2024 from 11am to 2pm.
Hosts Jim Braude and Margery Eagan will be joined by special guests including:
- Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey
- UMass Boston Chancellor Marcelo Suárez-Orozco
- Tech entrepreneur and funder of the UMass Boston Paul English Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute, Paul English
- Former EPA administrator Gina McCarthy
Healey’s segment will take place from 1pm as an hour-long “Ask the Governor” with questions submitted by audience members and listeners. This event is open to the public and can be heard live on GBH 89.7FM, the GBH News app and gbhnews.org. A rebroadcast will be available on the GBH News YouTube channel following the live event.
