SEN. LESSER PRESENTS MANUFACTURING AWARD TO SPRINGFIELD SPRING & STAMPING AT POLAR PARK
On Friday, Senator Eric P. Lesser attended the annual Massachusetts Manufacturing Mash-Up at the Polar Park in Worcester. Senator Lesser presented an award to Springfield Spring & Stamping, a manufacturing company that has been operating for 80 years and is a member of the New England Minority Supplier Development Council.
“It’s an honor to present this award to Springfield Spring & Stamping, a company who has spent decades operating in the Western Mass manufacturing community and continues to grow to this day,” said Sen. Lesser. “Each year this event welcomes more and more manufacturers across the Commonwealth signaling that the industry is thriving and finding new ways to innovate each day.”
Springfield Spring & Stamping is a precision manufacturing company that produces high quality springs, stampings, wire forms and light assemblies for a broad cross-section of industries around the world. It is also known to be one of the largest certified minority and women-owned businesses in the United States.
“Springfield Spring & Stamping is honored to be recognized by Senator Lesser for our continued growth and expansion,” stated Tina Malley, Vice President of Springfield Spring & Stamping. “We would not be here without the talent and dedication of our team.”
Senator Lesser was joined by Representative Jeffrey Roy at the annual event to present awards as Co-Chairs of the Joint Legislative Manufacturing Caucus. Numerous awards were distributed to manufacturers across the Commonwealth nominated by each senator and representative in the Legislature.
