State officials host discussion on climate change program June 14 in Holyoke

Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito and Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Matthew Beaton will lead a roundtable discussion about the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness program on Thursday, June 14, 1-3 p.m., at Holyoke City Hall.
 
The roundtable will discuss the MVP program, the challenges that communities face as they combat extreme weather and climate change, and the actions being taken to combat these issues.
 
The administration hopes to hear from local officials about the ways in which the Commonwealth can continue to assist communities as they prepare for these challenges.
 
State officials will also answer questions about the MVP program.
